So back on the catching up from all these babies arriving...
About 7 hours after David was born (I think), Lauren (Jonathan's sister) checked into the hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, to be induced. We spent the morning waiting for news. I remember asking every couple hours after David was born if Aubrey was here yet. We literally could not wait for her to be here!
Aubrey Kay made her appearance at almost 4pm Kenya time the day after
David was born. This beautiful girl is a mere 13 hours younger than
David. She was 6lb 7oz at birth... Same exact weight as Alexa! Can't
believe that they were identical sizes at birth!!!
One of the coolest things about this birth was that Lauren's parents got to be IN KENYA for the birth! We know it was awesome to be able to have your mom there, Lauren!
Gorgeous mom and baby shot! It's incredible how much my beautiful sister-in-law radiates with her little girl in her arms! Actually, she usually radiates with joy anyways... Just even more with this precious little one!
Family photo in Kenya. They moved houses when Aubrey was less than a week old, and moved countries (to the UK) when she was only a few weeks old. Next up is a visit to the US when she is less than 3 months old! Talk about a world traveler!
